AI's Magic Trick: Earning $8K/Month by Cloning Yourself Without a Huge Fanbase

AI's Magic Trick: Earning $8K/Month by Cloning Yourself Without a Huge Fanbase

Dara Ladjevardian, the cofounder of Delphi AI, an artificial intelligence platform for digital cloning talks about his amazing tool in this most recent episode. Delphi allows users to create a personalized AI clone of themselves that can have conversations via chat or voice calls. The clones capture an individual's personality, knowledge, speech patterns, and thinking.

Ladjevardian shares how he came up with the idea while working on AI at previous startups. He wanted to create a digital version of his late grandfather to get advice. This evolved into a book club experimenting with cloning authors, eventually becoming the Delphi company. The goal is to democratize access to expertise by letting clones share knowledge on-demand 24/7.

Use cases span from coaching and consulting to customer service and lead generation. One Delphi clone already earns its creator $8k per month. The artificial intelligence keeps improving through customer conversations and clone self-assessments. Upcoming features include video and multi-platform messaging. Ladjevardian believes digital cloning with AI (artificial intelligence) can help people better scale their time, influence and availability.

OpenAI’s Sora Is Insane, Gemini’s Big Update & Comic Writer Gerry Duggan | Ep45

This week… Sora is OpenAI’s new text-to-video model and we discuss the tech, the incredible videos & the implications for everyone. Plus, Reddit is licensing its data to an AI company & Google Gemini got ANOTHER update.

AND THEN… an interview with comic book writer Gerry Duggan! He is NOT a fan of generative AI but Kevin and Gavin use the opportunity to discuss how the creative community views AI and different possible approaches to take going forward.

Also, Kevin shows off the GUI for LIGEN (we’ll explain), Gavin tries to get puns out of ChatGPT and fails and, unfortunately for all of us, we talk about Midjourney’d rat genitalia.

Oh and our AI co-host this week is our old PR friend, Sheila, who’s back on our show again after the Monster Milk debacle. She gives us some advice on how to do deal with ‘haters’ and then, yes, drinks Monster Milk again.

It's an endless cavalcade of ridiculous and informative AI news, AI tools, and AI entertainment cooked up just for you.

Adam Danyleyko: AI Insights for Startup Growth

Adam Danyleyko: AI Insights for Startup Growth

Adam Danyleyko is a dynamic force in the AI and startup communities, and our conversation explored his journey from HR to AI, highlighting the transformative role of artificial intelligence in today's startup ecosystem. With a rich background in government, community program management at Startup Edmonton, and now as the Product Owner of Startups at Amii, Danyleyko's insights span a wide spectrum of entrepreneurial challenges and opportunities.

We delved into key advice for founders, where Danyleyko emphasizes the importance of identifying core problems before selecting tools. His analogy, "if you were a carpenter and you had a brand new hammer, you wouldn't walk around your job site trying to find things to hit with the hammer," succinctly captures this mindset. This approach is essential in a world where AI solutions like GPT are becoming increasingly accessible.

Danyleyko's journey, from an HR co-op student to a leader in AI, underlines the importance of adaptability and continuous learning in career progression. He reflects on his time at the government of Alberta and how his roles evolved, eventually leading him to the vibrant startup community.

The podcast also covers the critical elements of a successful startup ecosystem, emphasizing a founder-led approach and the need for diverse support structures. Danyleyko's insights into the role of government, the significance of peer support, and the impact of investment capital provide a comprehensive view of what makes an ecosystem thrive.

Another focal point is the role of community-led organizations and events, like Democamp Edmonton, in fostering a supportive environment for entrepreneurs. These platforms, according to Danyleyko, are vital for showcasing innovation and facilitating feedback.

Mentorship, as discussed, is a cornerstone for startup success, illustrated by the story of Fly and Fetch. This narrative underscores how guidance and support can catalyze a startup's growth, especially in early stages.

Breaking No-Code Barriers: The Simplicity of Lightyear

On this episode of Behind the Bots we interview Mark Hendriks, co-founder of Lightyear. Lightyear is an integration platform that enables developers to connect apps and services more easily using code instead of No-Code tools like Zapier.

    - Mark talks about how Lightyear leverages AI like GitHub Copilot to help generate integrations faster and even have AI write code based on documentation provided.

    - After being in private beta for over a year, Lightyear has now launched publicly so anyone can sign up and start creating workflows by connecting their favorite apps and services.

    - Mark shares his vision for where Lightyear is headed long-term, which includes being able to describe an integration in plain language and having AI generate the necessary code automatically.

    - Hendriks discusses the origins of Lightyear and how he and his co-founder came together over 7 years ago to eventually start building the tool.

    - Mark provides his perspective on where AI is heading generally and how he sees it evolving when it comes to assisting with development and design work.
